Wuhan Institute of Technology was founded in June 1972. On February 2006, officially changed its name to Wuhan Institute of Technology, .as approved by the Ministry of Education and authorized by the People's Government of Hubei Province, Through 38 years construction, the Institute has evolved from a single engineering college to a high level multidisciplinary teaching university with better school conditions, stronger capabilities and distinctive characteristics. . After visit, the two sides held the university-enterprise cooperation forum at the company’s conference room. After the forum, the two sides held a contract signing ceremony of university-enterprise cooperation, Li Jie and Lam Kwok Hung, representing the Institute and the enterprise respectively, signed university-enterprise cooperation contract.  Co-operation between the two sides will fully utilize advantages of university and enterprise, strengthen service of institutions of higher learning to the community, industry and business, provide extensive support for enterprises in scientific research, projects and technology, while enterprise will provide more training chance and more employment opportunities to university students.

After the signing ceremony, the inauguration ceremony to hang the tablet of " Practice Teaching Base Wuhan Institute of Technology" was held in front of the office building, by Ma Zhibin Dean of the School of Material Science and Engineering, and Lin Wanlong, the General Manager of Wahsang, with all delegates applauded!
